How to celebrate the Holidays in May 2019

The official English-language holiday calendar for 2020 is here.

The next official English holiday, Holidays In May 2019, will be celebrated from March 22 to April 12.

The official calendar is available here.

Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect.

New Year’s Eve: New year’s eve celebrations start on New Year’s Day, but don’t get too excited about it, as you can still see plenty of fireworks.

Day offs on New Years Day are in effect from January 1, 2019, through February 3, 2019.

Holiday celebrations begin at 11:00pm on New year’s Day.

All flights will operate from 11:15pm on February 3 and 12:30am on February 5, 2019 (except to destinations on the east coast of England).

A day off will be offered to passengers with a flight from London Heathrow to Edinburgh Airport (excluding the new arrivals of passengers from the United Kingdom, which will be restricted to flights from London Gatwick, Gatwick Airport and Glasgow City Airport).

You can get a full timetable of departures and arrivals, as well as a full list of flights and dates, here.

Christmas Eve:  New Year on Christmas Eve 2019 will start at 7:00am local time (10:00 am GMT), with celebrations starting from 8:00 pm local time.

Tickets for all flights to and from Edinburgh Airport and Gatwick will be discounted on Christmas Day, starting at 8:30pm local time on January 1.

Airline lounges and restaurants will be open until 8:15am local night.

There will be no public transport from 7:30 am to 8:20am local.

A total of 10,000 fireworks are expected during the celebrations.
